Here’s some of our regular or periodic donators:
- Central Parks Farms has just donated 100 lbs of meat to our food bank!!
- Tim Horton‘s – just started giving us end-of-day products daily
- Save-On, No Frills and (until May of last year) Buy Low – have been giving regularly
- Jerseyland – started last year giving yogurt (750ml size); not monthly but often throughout the year.
- Abetkoff’s – has been giving for several yrs – 400-500 lbs. of potatoes most months and sometimes more; and occasionally onions.
- Total Pet – for 2-3 years now; they have a bin that the store and customers will put cat and dog food in for those in need; we pick up from them twice a month.
- Deane Farms – for a long time now they’ve been giving lots of veggies just about every month
- Rilkoff’s Store – for a long time now they’ve been giving lots of veggies just about every month
- Dr. Ruth Sims – she gave a pallet of dog food (big bags) earlier this yr.
- Interfor – once a year around Christmas time – they usually give meat (i.e. turkeys).
- Gift-in-Kind = 170 lbs
- Food Recovery: (i.e. culled to farmers) = 930 lbs.
- Volunteer Hrs. = 451 If we have 50 volunteers and in one month they work 451 hours then each volunteer is on average, working 9 hours a month!
